The short version. Craftable is back office software for restaurants, bars and hotels. It manages purchasing, inventory, accounts payable and financial reporting in one place, and it now markets an Operator AI that flags issues and suggests what to do. It says it is built for the technology stacks of mid size to enterprise restaurant groups and hotel operators, says more than 10,000 operators use it, and does not publish prices.

Two different jobs
Craftable says it "connects spending to performance so you get the full picture, right when you need it", and its newer Operator AI, in its own words, "tells you what's off, why it matters, and what to do about it." That is a real capability and a hard one to build.
A recommendation is still one step short of the fix, and the last step is the expensive one. CoreTAP is that step on the floor: it names the person and the product, assigns the action to the manager who owns it, sets a deadline, and holds it to a written resolution.

When Craftable is the right choice
If you run a multi unit group or a hotel and need purchasing, receiving, inventory and accounts payable tied into accounting with enterprise controls, Craftable is built for that. It says it is SOC 2 compliant and SSO ready, and it names Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, Hakkasan Group and bartaco among its customers.
One practical note: Craftable does not publish pricing, so budget for a quote rather than a number you can check today.
Where CoreTAP is different
Craftable makes a group's spend legible to finance. CoreTAP makes the shift's job clear to the people working it.
Craftable's published features centre on cost, spend and margin across the group rather than on individual staff. A margin view tells you the dish is underperforming. It does not tell you that most of the variance sits with two people on Friday nights, what that is worth per week, and who is having that conversation before the weekend.
